Terms & Conditions
Agreement to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the All Occasions Lighting website and your interactions with us through it. By using this website or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
About Our Website and Services
This website is provided for general information and to help you start a conversation about outdoor lighting. The content here — including service descriptions, photos, and example pricing — is for informational purposes and does not constitute a binding offer or contract.
Any lighting project we perform for you is governed by a separate written proposal, estimate, or service agreement that we provide and that you approve before work begins. If anything in those project documents conflicts with these Terms, the project documents control for that project.
Quotes and Estimates
We’re happy to provide a free, no-pressure quote. Quotes and estimates are based on the information available to us and typically require an on-site assessment to finalize. Because materials, site conditions, and scope can change, a quote is an estimate — not a guaranteed final price — and is valid only for the period stated on the quote. Final pricing is confirmed in your written project agreement.
Scheduling, Weather, and Seasonal Work
Much of our work is outdoors and seasonal. Holiday and Christmas lighting, in particular, is booked within a limited installation and takedown window each year, and demand is highest in the weeks leading up to the holidays. We schedule on a first-come basis and recommend booking early.
For everyone’s safety, installation and service may be delayed or rescheduled due to rain, wind, extreme heat, or other conditions outside our control. We’ll always work with you to find the next available date when this happens.
Payment Terms
Payment terms for your project — including any deposit, the balance due, and accepted payment methods — are set out in your written project agreement. Unless that agreement says otherwise, a deposit may be required to reserve your installation date, with the balance due upon completion. Late or unpaid balances may be subject to collection and any fees permitted by law.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as early as possible. Because seasonal materials and crew time are reserved in advance, cancellations made close to a scheduled date — or after materials have been prepared — may be subject to a fee or forfeiture of a deposit, as described in your project agreement.
Your Responsibilities as a Customer
To help your project go smoothly, you agree to:
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the work areas of your property on the scheduled dates;
- Ensure working power outlets are available where needed for the lighting design;
- Obtain any approvals required by your HOA, landlord, or property owner, and let us know of any restrictions;
- Identify the location of in-ground irrigation, low-voltage wiring, or other concealed lines that may not be marked; and
- Secure or restrain pets during scheduled visits.
Property and Existing Conditions
We treat every property with care and use reasonable methods to avoid damage. You understand that installing outdoor lighting involves working around landscaping, rooflines, and existing electrical systems. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, undisclosed or unmarked underground lines, or damage caused by faulty wiring, structures, or fixtures that were not installed by us. If we discover a condition that affects safety or the work, we’ll pause and discuss it with you before continuing.
Warranty and Workmanship
We stand behind our work. Any workmanship warranty, along with its length and what it covers, is described in your written project agreement. Manufactured products — such as fixtures, bulbs, and controllers — may also carry their own manufacturer warranties, which we’ll pass along to you. Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, alterations by others, severe weather, power surges, or normal wear.
Seasonal & Holiday Lighting
Seasonal lighting programs may include installation, in-season maintenance, takedown, and — depending on your agreement — storage of materials between seasons. The ownership of seasonal materials (whether they are rented as part of a program or purchased by you) is set out in your project agreement. We ask that lighting installed by us not be modified, moved, or repaired by others during the season, as this can affect safety and any applicable warranty.
